The new self-paying patients ward project is part of the restyling programme of the Agostino Gemelli University Hospital. The project involves the construction of 14 hospital room of different sizes and configurations.

The new distribution guarantees a natural flexibility of the hospital rooms, which, with the use of sliding panels, makes it possible to join several rooms with different configurations.

The desire to break away from the traditional image of a hospital ward, the search for innovative materials and the episodic use of colours contribute to giving the ward a contemporary look.
